Bring in the Christmas spirit by dancing and listening to the Kapital Kicks orchestra at the Capital Ritz. It's become a Let's Dance Club and Jefferson City tradition to bring in the Kapital Kicks for a Christmas dance. The 12 piece orchestra ushers in the Christmas holidays with a great selection of Christmas carols and other ballroom music to waltz, cha cha, swing, foxtrot, etc. The LDC dancers even do some line dances to a few of the Christmas songs and it's become a great event to start the Christmas season. The Kapital Kicks also features some great vocals that spice up the dancing. Dress is semi-formal as many of the dancers dress up with coat and tie, and dresses or nice slacks. Admission is free to Let's Dance Club members, while guests pay $15 per person. BYOB including alcoholic beverages. Attendees are asked to bring a dessert or snacks to share and fill up the food tables. Doors open at 6:30 with dancing starting at 7. Get there early to claim a seat as the club usually has quite a few Guests for this fun Christmas event. The Capital Ritz is a great dance venue with a wooden, floating dance floor that is easy on the feet. There is plenty of room to dance, and the Ritz will be decorated with great decorations adding to the evening.
