Celebrate Valentine's Day a bit early with your sweetheart at the Capital Ritz on Friday, February 12. Let the Swing'n Axes band from Columbia, Mo provide top quality ballroom and swing music to waltz, foxtrot, swing, and cha cha. The band has a roster of great musicians to provide top quality tunes to dance to. Swing'n Axes were here a few years ago as they are hard to book, as they have limited their appearances to only a few select venues each year. The Let's Dance Club is fortunate to host them for a special Valentine's dance. The Capital Ritz will be a perfect venue for Valentine's with good music, Valentine's decorations, and snacks. Attendees are asked to bring a dessert or snack to share and fill up the food tables. BYOB including alcoholic. The Capital Ritz has a large wooden, floating dance floor that is easy on the feet. Plenty of room to do a Waltz. Admission is free for Let's Dance Club members while each Guest is $15. Doors open at 6:30. Be early because our Valentine Dances are well attended. Some members will dress up semi-formal but that's up to you.
