Sunday, October 4, 2026, 1:30 pm — Hike the western loop of the Frog Hollow trail. This scenic loop over rough terrain will be about 1 mile through it may take about one hour. Wear shoes with tread. Wading in shallow water might be needed to cross Wears Creek if it has been raining. Bring water. Meet at the memorial bench on the Edgewood greenway that is directly across the road from Anytime Fitness. The Jefferson City Trail Users group leads Community Hikes to promote and advocate for local trails. Get together with a group to discover trails with fellowship! These hikes occur each month. Locations and start times vary. Follow JC Parks on Facebook, where we load Community Hikes as events with more information and route maps.
