In this two-part workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of 3D modeling and additive manufacturing using Tinkercad, a beginner-friendly 3D design software. Across two 50-minute sessions, students will practice navigating a 3D workspace, combining geometric shapes, and adding custom details to design two Christmas ornaments. After class, we will print their finished designs on our 3D printers for students to take home, keep, or give as gifts. Illness: We work hard to keep the germs away at LabSpace and ask that you stay home if your child, or someone in your household is ill. We offer many 1 session classes throughout the semester and will be happy to have you visit one of the those as a makeup for classes missed due to illness. Please note that we have teachers will immune issues. Even a small cold can be a big deal with a many week recovery.
