Start your Thanksgiving with a fun and festive tradition at the annual Thanksgiving Day Pie Run! Whether you’re aiming for a personal best in the 10K, enjoying a competitive 5K, or taking a leisurely 5K walk with family and friends, this Thanksgiving morning event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday. Both the 5K and 10K courses are USATF-certified, offering a fast, flat route that begins and ends at the JC Parks Multipurpose Building in North Jefferson. The 10K starts at 8:15 a.m., followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring a canned food item to support the Samaritan Center, helping continue a tradition that has raised thousands of pounds of food and more than $51,000 for local families in need. The first 600 registered participants will receive a commemorative event shirt while supplies last. Registration Pre-Race Registration Adults: $25 ($20 for members) Youth (15 & under): $15 Race Day Registration $30 Packet Pickup Beat the Thanksgiving morning rush by picking up your race packet the evening before! Packet pickup and late registration will be available Wednesday, November 25, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the JC Parks Multipurpose Building, 810 Sandstone, North Jefferson City.
