Intro to Coding in Scratch: Build Your Digital World Get your child’s 4-H Scratch Programming project off to a flying start with live, interactive online classes led by an experienced instructor! Designed specifically for beginners, kids will learn the fundamentals of computer science while coding their very own custom maze games, animations, and digital projects. Class Schedule Ages 8–10: Mondays, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM (Oct 19 – Nov 9) Ages 10–14: Tuesdays, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM (Oct 20 – Nov 10) What Kids Will Learn & Experience Live, Teacher-Led Instruction: 4 weekly, 1-hour live online sessions with real-time feedback and guidance. Hands-On Projects: Program a playable maze game and digital creations from scratch while building skills to continue with your own projects. Small Group Environment: Capped at just 10 students per section to ensure personalized attention and questions answered. No Experience Necessary: Perfect for complete beginners—all you need is a computer with internet access. Registration & Fee Course Fee: $10 total per student for the full 4-week series (Generously subsidized by MU Extension 4-H). Scholarships Available: 4-H is dedicated to making STEM accessible to all youth.
